🤫I eat peanut butter everyday… . Before you freak out… not an ENTIRE jar 😂 (I wish 😝) . But a little 👶🏻🥄 here & there for sure. . I get asked a lot ❓“Anita, how do you handle cravings?” . Well… this is it! . You see, a lot of times we fall into that all or nothing type of mentality . We start ❌banning certain foods… . Restricting ❌our diets… . And then guess what? . We 😩BINGE! . Ultimately that’s what will happen . You’ll start off fine, but if you start depriving yourself of the things you really want, it will only be a matter of ⏰ before you start CRAVING THEM BADLY! . Trust me girls I know first-hand 🙋🏻‍♀‍how this works! 🧠 . I competed professionally for many years and those diets are as😭restrictive as they come! . Once I was done with competing, I had to work REALY hard to find the right balance between a healthy lifestyle and how to still enjoy the foods I loved . I love staying fit, but I also love to feed my❤soul! It's so IMPORTANT . We are HUMAN, not ROBOTS, we like to eat, have fun, and enjoy ourselves . Your lifestyle should be a celebration 🎉of YOU and the things you like to enjoy, not the things that🙅🏻‍♀‍remove your joy . Remember to always ask yourself these questions👇🏽 . ❓Are you happy with your diet now❓ ❓Can you see yourself doing this long term❓ . If the answer to these questions is “NO”… . I wish I knew this when I started my journey… . my progress would have been a LOT FASTER😩 . If you are like me 🙋🏻‍♀️ and serious about your fitness goals… . 🔑 Planning is CRUCIAL! . I used to NEVER have a plan, was literally just winging it everyday. . And guess what happened… . 😩I made ZERO progress & I lost MOTIVATION . ❌If you don’t have a plan the chances of failing are high, and that is because there is no structure & direction🙄 . Knowing you have a purpose for the day is already a GOAL🤩 you didn’t even know you had. . I know walking into a gym for the first time is 👀intimidating🤭 . Not knowing exactly what you need to do is 10x worse!😳 . Let’s go over a little planning checklist 📝🤓👇🏽 . ✅Plan your workouts BEFORE getting into the gym! “You have to eat 6 SMALL MEALS per day to lose weight”…🤥 . “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day”….🤥 . I used to live by these “LIES”🤥 for a LONG TIME🤦🏻‍♀ . The truth is, CALORIES CAN NOT TELL WHAT TIME IT IS ⏰ . I used to eat 5-6 small meals a day, evenly spread out… . Now i eat 3 meals a day as I personally enjoy having bigger meals and really stuff my belly🤰🏾😝 (coming from a competition background, i didn’t get to do that very often ….😳) It actually took me a LONG TIME to really make myself believe that i wouldn’t lose my muscles if i didn’t eat protein every 3 hours 😳 …duh🤪 . But, back to my topic, simply put:👇🏾 . 🍕Meal 1 🍕Meal 2 🍕Meal 3 🍕Meal 4 🍕Meal 5 🍕Meal 6 ✅= 2,100 calories . OR . 🍕Meal 1 🍕Meal 2 🍕Meal 3 ✅= 2,100 calories . At the end of the day whether you choose to divide your meals into 6 or 3 ✅ 2,100 calories are still 2,100 calories . As long as you eat the correct number of calories you are supposed to in order to LOSE or GAIN weight (whatever your GOAL is) you WILL make 💪🏼progress! . When it comes to weight loss your main concern should ALWAYS be to be at a CALORIE DEFECIT, this is the ONLY way to actually lose the weight. .
